You need to get a copy of your credit report to see exactly what is being reported, and by whom. Did you buy computer equipment financed through Credit America?Or could it be your student loans?
Alabama has a only a 3 year SOL for them to sue you on credit card debt. If you can locate ANY bill from the early days of your "problems" that included a late charge, you can use that date. Your student loans are not dischargable in bk anyway,(assuming they were Fed. guaranteed) they can be negotiated out later.
