Leave it alone. With the 7/97 date still on there, it will come off automatically in 2004. If you dispute it, they can update to 10/2000 and you would have a hard time fighting it, depending on how they list it on your report. As far as the SOL, I'll let Why Chat answer. I think you restarted the SOL when you paid the CA. Maybe he knows a way around that. This is one sleeping dog I would just let lie.
