The legal rulings on the starting date of the SOL for filing suit are simpler than the "reporting" ones. The date that was the "cause of action"(the action is your charge-off or default) is when you start.This date "accrues" (counts) from your first "late notice" date, UNLESS you caught up and became current, OR signed a settlement agreement that said, "this brings your account current"
