I looked up the statutes, link below. The bad news is, Texas has a provision that does allow liens against future property of debtors.Since Texas is a community property State, even the fact you have remarried doesn't exempt you. If you had done BK when your ex did,you would be OK. The good news is the lien expires when the judgment does,and even if the judgment is renewed, the lien expires in 10 years from filing in any case. So you only have a few more years to go.
