A cease and desist letter is only for collection agencies,not original creditors. Are you SURE it hasn't already been turned over to ca's? Get yourself an answering machine,or change your phone # to an unlisted #. If you are on SSD you don't need any more stress. There are no-cost legal assistance groups that can help you if you decide to declare bankruptcy ch 7. You won't lose your car or your home and it will get rid of the grief and worry.
