My providian account was charged off march of this yr, I sent a letter to them requesting assistance in resuming payments or settle in full as long as I get confirmation the account will start showing paying as agreed and remove all the derogs, they sent me a letter back stating they cannot do that as they would be in violation of their agreement with the bureaus and they rely heavily on the veracity of the credit bureau history as do other lenders, and that they are scrupulous in their reporting. any suggestions on this?
