I'm hoping that Dillard's will have enough common sense to close and delete the entire account upon receipt of my letter. I don't really see what they would have to gain by 'punishing' me by keeping info on my CR--knowing that I will never use the card (nor will I ever shop there again if this isn't resolved immediately). I guess I'm fortunate that I have been studying my CR's so intently lately, and caught this the day it happened. I would think that should help in my cause. I know it's not (by FAR) the worst thing that could happen to my CR's, but it just really got under my skin and I'll fight it as long (and as dirty) as I have to! As always, thanks for your advice. **EVERYONE--BEWARE OF TELEMARKETERS OFFERING CC 'INFORMATION'** I assumed I was the last person in the world that could get scammed by a telemarketer--I seldom even give them the time of day. But it can, and does happen to ANYONE!
