I think the states should pass laws requiring these companies to disclose the ultimate results of CCC in their advertisements. They mislead people with good credit into thinking they can just use CCCS and still maintain their good standing, when in truth their credit will be worse, for longer after they have paid out all that money and completed CCCS. Most card companies will not touch you if you have any reference to CCCS on your report, even if you complete the program. So you are darned if you do and darned if you don't - but you don't know that when you make the decision. Not fair! Linda
