I have linked below a prior post that has a form letter. RRR is registered,return receipt.When you file a complaint on-line you make a copy of what you are sending.(page-view works best) Yhen you will get an e-mail verification with a file#. If you need to add to your complaint you use that #. As to what you are disputing- basically EVERYTHING, that the debt is yours,that it is the correct amount, that they have the right to collect on it. If this ca has only one of your debts,then the informaton he gave your parents was from your credit report.You need to get a copy and see which are really yours, and which may be incorrect in ANY way.Send those the same letter.If you get any further calls or letters from the ca, make sure you keep a log for a future lawsuit. Do NOT call him, just state all future communication must be in writing ad hang up.
