Did you know there is an actual website at www.chasebanksucks.com. There is a BB with many posts similar to yours. They just raised my mortgage by $210 a month. (fixed rate mort/- "escrow analysis scam" - referenced on the site). I gather Chase only responds to letters cc'd to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). I don't even know where to start to fight them. I just got a handle on SOL's and bad debt, now I have to learn about this. I'll post if I have any luck. They bought out Chemical a few years ago who had a class action suit filed against them for some of the same actions.
Just pray that when you get your mortgage Chase doesn't buy it.
