You may be correct Razor, however,the cc companies are using some new strategies.
1- They are signing people up for "business credit cards" that are exempt from FDCPA
2- They are farming out collection accounts, not to regular ca's but to individual lawyers who fall under the 4% limit of "collection activities".
3- The fellow posting wasted his first round of verification letters on his original creditor, and if the cc company merely hired a lawyer to file suit against him in his State, it is not considered covered under FDCPA as it never went to a "collection agent".
