What info does a CA get when they buy your account?

Hi all, I just sent a dispute to a CA and they sent me a letter back stating that account verification
documents have been requested from the orignal creditor and that the info will be available to me so as
it is available to them (kind of vague, huh?).

Anyhoo, they went on to state that the following info:

~ when the account was opened
~ when the account was sold
~ The date of last payment
~ The cardholder address at the time of last payment.

Do they automatically get that information when they buy the account? I feel that it was an attempt to
bully me. Even though they are stating they are getting original documents, they are making it sound
like they are on the horn to the original seller getting all kinds of info. Thus, attempting to make me feel as if they are already in the right.

Obviously, I should wait until they provide ample validation. How long should I wait around for them to
validate?
