Thanks for answering Razor. A few more question related to the reporting period:
Hypothetically speaking, what is the date that is used to start the 7 year clock? Is it the initial date that the acct. is reported as past due? Or, is it the initial date that the acct. is reported as in collection? When a collection acct. bounces from CA to CA does the clock start over each time a new CA reports this debt? I have read the FCRA, but it is not clear to me. Thanks again.
