A question on reaging. When a CA reages an account, they don't actually change the dates put on your CR by the original creditor, do they? I hear that most of them try and say you made a payment to them when they reage it. How can you get that fixed? I suppose there's no way for me to prove I didn't make a payment any more than there's a way for the CA to prove that I did.

If I get copies of my CR right before those accounts are supposed to fall off, the original default date should still be on there right? Then I would at least have something to show when the original date was.
