I have been dealing with NCO myself for my husband.
I had settled an account with them, and I have not recieved a payment received notice from them.

I know I made a mistake in settling with them as the charge off date was wrong on the credit report. I never realized this until after I paid them.
I actually paid NCO on a chargeoff that was over seven years!
I am not sure what to do at this point, as I have been working with the CRA's and I am waiting for them to remove this old chargeoff from the report.
I am a bit scared on NCO screwing me and getting the date changed and seeing this thing on the report for another seven years.
I wish I had not paid them.
They had been nice on the phone, and the we settled for 20% of the origanal debt.
But now I have not heard anything from them.
