I was advised that a civil warrant was being issued by Circuit City, one for the charges, about 1500.00, and another for the property. The CA attorney's office is stating they can settle for 1051.00. I have not been served yet, and apparently Circuit City will go after you with garnishment, etc. I am wondering how taking the settlement will affect me, and will they then come after me for the rest, or should I risk that they will not follow through? I didn't think you could usually get sued for less than around $2000 or more. Don't they seem to be wasting their time? Just need some general advice.
