I have PCM calling my home for a $11,000 debt owed to me by Chase that was first delinquent in 1999. And I have a debt with Asset Acceptance that was first delinquent in 1999. According to the SOL laws in NYC I have to wait to 2005 and see if they file a judgment. On account was chase and one with Fleet...both are credit cards....does anyone know if Chase and fleet use the Delaware SOL or the NY SOL? Also, since the sizes of the debt are large? should I send them a cease and desist letter or will that trigger legal action? I just don't want them to call on the phone anymore! G in NYC P.S. These were credit card accounts.
