The hospital lied. NCO is famous for scumbag tactics. Who have you been making payments to? Do you have your "negotiation" in writing signed by an authorized person from the hospital? If so,they broke the contract by turning it over to a collection agency.If your agreement was vebal, I hope you kept all your records of payments.Let us know which it is, in either case, you are off the hook for any further payments at all as the hospital breached their agreement with you.
