Send a letter to the X-ray center's & the collection agency's legal department,(same letter-2 headings)
State that their actions in turning the account over to the ca, and the ca's actions in reporting this account to the CRA's are a violation of the Fair Credit Billing Act, The Fair Credit Reporting Act and The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.That they have 30 days to completely remove this from all your credit reports or you will file a complaint with the FTC, your State's consumer protection agency and take appropriate legal action against them for their violations of Federal law,and to recover any damages incurred from their slander of your credit, and all legal expenses.Send them both rrr
