Dude, I got the same with on in N.C. There is a Credit Bureau of Greensboro. I actually have talked to them. They had 2 debts of mine. I paid off one, and asked for info on the other, cause I contacted the business that originally had the bill and they said I never owed them. When I call, they ask me about the debt and I tell them that Im not gonna pay until I get validation that I requested. They are like, Ok, then what else can I do you for. Never had a problem with them as far as harrasment. Of course, they know the SOL ran out loooong ago so maybe they follow the law???? No....couldnt be. I didnt know there was such a thing as a Honest Collection Agency.
