I had a citibank card that I fell behind on in 5/94. My CR from Experian shows I was 60 days delinquent in 8/96 and that the card was charged off in 12/96 [ 180 days past due ]. They sold it to some sleaze bags who scared me into settling for 2/3 of the amount due in 8/98. The CR shows the following: Charge Off as of 10-1998, 10-1997 to 7-1998, 8-1997, 12-1996 to 7-1997. Experian gives 10/98 as date of last activity, thus 10/05 as date of removal. Do I have any strategies available to expedite this?
