It was a promissory note. No there was no judgement filed against me. I have tried in the past to settle with them, but the creditor turned it over to a collection company. What ever offer I made they turned me down. This was the collection company. I was going to send a letter to them to validate the debt, but the collection company is not the one list on my report. The amount was for a little over $5000, and they want over $7000, with there charges added. On this kind on note Is the sol 6 years?
