First file validation that you dispute the debt. Add a line in thet the CA may no longer contaxctyou by phone. Only by mail. You want proof they can actually legally collect the debt. If they cant provide it then they wasted thier money. Proof is a copy of your credit app, complete statements of the acct. and a copy of the agreement for the sale of the debt signed by the OC. also you want contact infor for the OC. They cant collect on the debt until they provide the infor. It gives you breathing room to plan your next step.
