Summons and SOL

The other day I recieved a summons requireing me to file an answer with court within 30 days regarding what I assume to be an old credit card debt. This debt is anywhere from 5-10 years old if its the debt I think it is and I dont even have account numbers for it. The SOL for this state is 3 years and I'm positive that it has run out. What is the best and most cost effective way to proceed? Thanks, Daniel
