Do you have letters and other documents proving that you have sent all this to the credit bureaus, and letters from them stating that they have investigated and verified, and that the onformation will remain on your reports??

If so, take them to a layer. If not, get them. Go through the whole procedure again, send them all certified, return receipt mail, keep a file and notes, and THEN take them to a lawyer.

It should be a lawyer who specializes in consumer issues, not a general practice lawyer or bk lawyer.

Sometimes the only way to wake the CRA's up and make them do right is to sue them. In the meantime, if you have applied for credit and been turned down, keep those records also. That makes damages, and you can get money.

Your lawyer can include his fees in the lawsuit. Don't try to do this yourself, IMO, unless you are willing to go to court and deal with it all - sounds like you are probably a bit inexperienced, and would have a hard time facing up to their (CRA's) lawyers without blinking.
