I've read alot on this site and found things I didn't know.My question is,I was layed off for six months, took a job for alot less (unemployment ran out),now have a good job but will not be up to my old income for about two years.My wife and I live in ohio, own our home(no equity two morgages)she works also.We have a minivan that is worth maybe $3500.Our unsecured dept is about $45,000 which at the moment nothing is late.But we are maxing out and cannot afford to pay everything.If we do claim bnkrup what chapter 7 or 13?What are we aloud to keep(tv,vcr,ect...).We are under some serious strees and don't know what to do.Thanks for any help.
