I do not know in what form your CU maintains it's "picture" of deposited checks,if they have them at all.
The best thing would be to get a photocopy of the processed check from whomever gave it to you. If they have any bank charge in obtaining this from THEIR bank,get their bill,reimburse them(get receipt) and give it all to your CU with a demand for reimbursement under your State's banking regulations.
