It depends on how low you are laying. If you have concealed your address,changed your name or done anything to deliberately hide your identity, the SOL is "tolled" for that time period.
If all you have done is not contacted your creditors, or bought anything that would show on your credit report,then you are ok and can wait them out.If they do contact you, send them dispute lettters and make it tough for them.
