#1 never negotiate with Gulfstate. Make them prove you owe the debt first. They are one of the worst CAs in the country.

#2 Never call a CA, all communication must be made by traceable mail. CRRR, FedEX, UPS etc. This is for your protection and is vital or Gulf state WILL mess you over.

Chances are the Debt is past the SOL for them to sue and you would be better off donating it your favorite charity.

What state are you in, What type of debt is it and what is the date of last activity?
