In 1997 and 1998 I had some financial problems and did not pay some of my debts. They have filed judgements on me and my husband,so we filed bankruptcy in sept 1998 and added those debts to our bankruptcy. We recently went to purchase a new home and realized these debts are still on our credit report as judgements. And the different banks questions these debts and require a copy of the bankruptcy discharge to prove we had listed those on our bankruptcy.

My question is: Were those debts suppose to be removed off of our credit report? The bankruptcy on the credit report has these charges already listed, so we are getting double banged.

Thanks- Virginia
