If you are not joint on any of your mother's accounts, they should not be calling you. Send them a "CEASE AND DESIST LETTER". Also, your mother is the perfect candidate for chapter 7 bankruptcy. This will stop the creditors from calling and zero out her debt. Listen to your lawyer. He's is giving your good advice
