As for the SOL of reporting, that's confusing. It's showing the judgment separately and then under credit items it shows up again as a charge-off saying it's scheduled to come off in 5-2008. It was last reported 11/2001 when it was charged off. They didn't receive anything, partial or whole, since 5/2001 because I thought the judgment ended that.

Do I have any other options besides paying???

It's really ugly on my report. The best part is I was always willing to pay and did make payments, but then when the judgment happened, I turned spiteful, I guess. lesson learned.
