We were served papers summons and complaint for our first select account of 2800. On the paper it says no where is there a date to appear. Well when we were served I called them and told them I wanted to pay on it and have made payment arrangements. They enclosed a seperate paper for me to sign as being an order of consent judgement. It says I have to sign it and return to conclude this matter the court. It says as long as payments are being made no executions shall issue on the judgement.
Should I sign it and keep the arrangements. I want to pay this off, I just dont want them to garnish wages, can they do that as long as we are making payments???
If I can come up with the money to settle with first select on the 2800, how do I go about asking them without letting them think I have money so they dont touch my bank accts.
Please help.
Thanks
