I have an account with Sears too with an attorney. Did they try to negotiate payments with you BEFORE the summons? Mine did and they were ridiculous amounts! i got a summons but called and negotiated payments and they automatically deduct them from my account. Sears is the most HORRIBLE company ever! I REFUSE to walk in another store of theirs or buy anything from them EVER!
