Hello, So, you're saying I have no hope and just pay it. The total is $1,135. They tried to garnish, but it failed because I am self-employed and they don't know where I get my checks from. Ha. They said they will accept $920 and give me a letter of sat. I will contact a lawyer I know for advice. He has a friend who's in charge of the dept. in court that handles these things.
My question is, that's it, just pay and move on in my life? I know it will stay longer on my record once I pay. They won't take it off my credit. I asked. My only hope is pay and try a once in a million chance of getting it expunged. I am guessing that's it. If you feel otherwise, let me know. Otherwise, thanks for your help. You're a great help for everyone on the boards.
