I can find NO record of a collection agency license and bond for either the firm, or their representitive lawyer. When you call the Mich. dept. of licensing for collection agencies, tell them that the Mich. lawyer's name is Daniel E. Best

If they are not registered as collection agents in Mich. then you should file an objection with the court stating that they are not legally allowed to file any action against you.
