Chase Visa

I had a credit card with chase visa and the account was charged off during the time I was out of the country for several years. Since Chase screwed up changing my address corectly, all my mail went to a non existing address in Texas. I now need all credit card statements to proove that I made all my payments in time and in full, however the collection company does not help me and Chase claims I have no right to obtain these statements. What can I do to get the statements from Chase and how long do they have to keep them on file (i read 6 years somewhere). Thanks for your help
