I owe 15,000.00 on a business credit card; I'm pretty sure I signed up with a personal guarantee on the debt which I understand is normal. The problem is that my business and personal finances are at an all time low right now, and I can only pay a couple hundred per month. Well, I missed some payments and the credit card company (GE Capital) gave the debt to a law office to collect from me. They are telling me that I must come up with at least 5,000.00 in two days, or they will put a lien on my house. They say that in order to qualify for a hardship program with them, I have to come up with the 5,000.00. There is no way I can get that much money. I have offered to pay a couple hundred per month untill I get back on my feet again, but they aren't listening.
Help!!!!!!!!
