I was contacted by letter from a CA in NY ( I live in Ca)for the 1st time on 5-6 for a $73 medicail bill of which I have no knowladge. They provided the basics, (creditor, date and $).The original creditor states they have no info to give for a bill that old. I sent a letter to the creditor and CA, stating I m not paying until I see some proof, and dont contact me unless they have some to give. 1) can the CA put this debt on my CR without giving me proof its mine 2) will a CRA put a debt org in 90 on a CR & 3)or should I just tell them were to go cause its out of the SOL.
