The reason you were asked to sign personally is BECAUSE you were required to take personal responsibility as your Corp. didn't qualify on it's own. They would have to sue the Corp. and you individually ,get a judgment and try to get an attachment lien on your home or any thing else you have of value. It is NOT very easy for them to do this. See a lawyer, have him/her check over ALL your papers, your personal guarantee may not be valid as many of these types of agreements are used for "threat" value rather than actually being legally binding. I will get back to you later this afternoon on Ill. statutes on liens etc.
