I've cleaned up my credit reports with all three CRA's removing a lot of negative data (e.g. collections, charge-offs, repossession, judgements, deliquent accounts). I did it all in three month's, which was amazing, or I was just one lucky individual. The question: I have a paid collection (Last Activity: 1/2001) which I am having a hard time removing. I've contacted the doctor's office and the collection agency - no luck. Should I just ignore this one and move on since I've been successful with cleaning up 90 percent of my credit reports. BTW, this payment was negotiated by my wife without my knowledge. I was thinking about contacting a lawyer. What do I do?
