My wife has about 15 cards one has balance of 13k. I live in South Carolina but we cant pay what they want us to pay. how long does a judgement stay on credit and now that I could face charge ofs and judgements on 15 cards. I heard of 7 years but what is the actual process of a judgment I know South carolina they cant collect or garnish wages. I just at least some day want to buy a house and have a normal life without the fear of bad credit reports that we accrued when we were young and dumb in college. I am still young and dumb and need some advice through this scary point in our life. Thanks
