Does Circuit City have it's own attorneys, or do they send to an outside collection agency attny? I received a threatening call from a Julian Brackin's office in Alabama, threatening civil suit. They never even contacted me for a year after I quit making payments. The balance was about 1500, but the principle was only about 700. The rest was interest and late fees (can you imagine?) I sent a validation to the attorney's office, but she told me they were not a collection agency, they were house attorneys for the parent company of Circuit City. Any advice?
