What may seem a problem to you could be an opportunity in disguise. Collection debt accounts are frequently "bundled" and resold.Sometimes the data and supporting documents get scrambled, with pieces of other accounts. Double check the account numbers, the original date and anything else you have available. Send a dispute/validation to each ca,without reference to the others.You may be able to wipe them all off.
