I rarely take exception to other poster's comments, except to correct glaring inacuracies, however!!. Any attorney who posts identifying him/herself as such is required by the Bar Assoc. to also post a disclaimer "this is not legal advice etc. etc." even if they are posting "anonymously" as long as they have a e-mail address available. In addition, bankruptcy laws vary by State, and since we don't know which State you are now in, it would be impossible for anyone to give you accurate information on judgments etc.As to the suggestion from another post that you "make a settlement offer" That is even less reasonable. She admits she needn't have done so herself, yet she suggests that you follow her advice!! If you let us know which State you are NOW in, and the date of FIRST delinquency (30 day late) we can be of more help.
