Razor is somewhat correct,the payment made in 1996 gave them an "excuse" to try to illegally re-age the debt on your reports,I doubt they did so. Is it on any of your reports? If so, dispute it as over-age. Send a letter to the CA rrr, cease and desist and do not report or I will sue.Linda has a good one, or if you need one ask me.
