As far as paying for this, let your heart be your guide.
My husband accepted an offer from Capital One like this by mistake! He didn't read the information and he signed up thinking he was just getting a new credit card.
The amount was 1780, but there was several over the limit fees charged at 25.00 each for the first two months.
Last week he received an offer from Capital One that states they will raise his limit by 200.00 more if he pays down the balance by a few more hundred dollars. This will make his credit limit 1,000.
This mistake by my husband has worked out to be a good thing for his credit rating. The payments always get paid on time and his FICO score is starting to look really good.
If you have really poor credit I would say go for it. But if you were able to get a mortage two years ago, you might not have bad credit. This style of debt re-payment really work great for people that can't get credit, or have to get secured credit cards.
Good Luck.
