I had to pick"other" for dispute reason, made it as brief as possible to fit. No the debt didnt occur in NY, it occured in georgia, for 200 bucks.but I took the reason to dispute from their Ask Maxine q&a, and there it said, current perm NY resident,didnt say debt had to be in NY, then I looked at the actual statute, didnt say debt had to be in NY, and then I read on another site, some guy said, hey everybody, got a relative in NY, use their address, I just called and wham, my 5yr paid they took off, so I figured OK, I start my very first dispute with a easy one, hell its coming off in 2 months, but hey,, what would they do to him, he has since declared bankcr, they have over the past few yrs, literally @20 different address where I know he has been living, as mine,, but not the address where this debt occured,, hun,, my question is, do you think they will consider it frivilous, ( cant do it on line, or inquiries) when I say,,,, innacurate,, these 20 address all over the southeast, ( PS I do suspect ex has been attempting to get credit, when I called them, and asked where did you guys get all these and from what,,,,,,, they wouldnt tell me,,,,,,, ) thanks good nite why chat,,
