Improving your credit will lead to improvement in your credit reports. However, generally speaking, if an account has been charged off, or is seriously delinquent, other than paying it in full,it is difficult to change the "bad" into good,and sometimes giving in to "settlement" offers can be worse for your credit than doing nothing.
