ok heres some background....I'm in Calif.This was a credit card account
date opened 7/96,last activity 2/98 charge off account date reported 12/00.ccb bank. then I guess it was sold to a collections place and that reads.collection acct. opened 7/96,last activity 6/97 date reported 6/01
I live in california and haven't done anything with these in a long time but I want to get them off.So do I send a letter to make sure this account is mine.Do I send it to the original credit place or the collection place,and if it is mine can I settle or should I pay the whole thing off The amount is 771.00
